Later reporting says the management of "Ramki Project" discussed the incident with the Mayor, and that the project director of Ramki Project said "they were strictly adhering to all safety procedures and that additional steps would be taken to avoid such accidents in the future".

Three migrant workers died after a lift they were using snapped and fell to the ground from a height of 40 feet at a construction site of Jawaharnagar dumpyard's waste-to-energy plant on Wednesday.
The Jawaharnagar police said two persons died on the spot, while the third succumbed while undergoing treatment. The deceased were identified as Suraj Sarkar, 21, Mandal Prakash, and Amit Roy, both 28, all from Uttar Pradesh. The plant is being developed by Hyderabad MSW Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd (HMESPL).
