Roof collapse at AMT metallurgical plant in Temirtau killed four people, injured one more, 10 June 2022

On June 10, in the city of Temirtau, an emergency occurred at the metallurgical plant of the ArcelorMittal company. There was a collapse of the roof, the employees of the enterprise were under the rubble...

According to official figures, four people died, another was injured, he was hospitalized...

At the time of publication of the news...the AMT company did not report on either dead or injured, indicating on its website that “five refractory workers of the metallurgical furnace repair shop of AMT JSC were found under the rubble, work on their extraction continues.” Later on Friday, the company wrote on its website that four of its employees had died, one was hospitalized in Temirtau, and that the families of the victims would receive assistance in accordance with the collective agreement.
