Deputy Zamirbek Mamasadykov announced the blocking of water from the Naryn River for farmers through the cascade of the Tash-Kumyr hydroelectric power stations. He stated this today, on April 21, at the meeting of Jogorku Kenesh.
According to the deputy, such an order was issued by the Ministry of Energy.
He noted that he was approached by farmers from Tash-Kumyr and the village of Kyzyl-Alma, who reported that the water was cut off, and their crops were drying up.
"The water level in the internal canals has fallen, and pumps have stopped working today. In the villages, residents have income only from farming. Today they want to get together; we need to study this step by people in charge," he added.
