Malawi: Locals allege toxic water from Paladin Energy uranium mine's tailing dam contaminating water sources; company refutes allegations

Locals from an area where Paladin Energy' s tailing dam is located are allegedly preparing to vacate the area following claims that water from the dam has been released to the environment, risking human lives and the environment. We invited Palidin Energy to respond to the concerns raised.  In response they directed us to a letter they had made public stating that "that no tailings water has been released into the environment" at the mine.
