Myanmar: Garment workers allege dismissal of union members following unionising efforts & employment of workers as day labourers at factory; incl. co. responses

In December 2022, it was reported that four union members at Topline Global factory had been dismissed from the factory following attempts to unionise. It was also reported that half the workforce at the factory were forced to sign an agreement that they would be hired as day labourers. The workers alleged they were not receiving their legal entitlements at the factory, including benefits.

In January 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited New Yorker and Creaciones Selene to respond. They did not.
