A report (linked below) by the Justice for Myanmar highlights the alleged involvements of companies in Y Complex, a development built on a land belonging to the Myanmar military. The companies named in the report are: Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC); Mizuho Bank; Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment for Transport and Urban Development (JOIN); Okura Hotels; Ayeyar Hinthar's subsidiary, Yangon Technical and Trading Co. Limited (YTT); and Tokyo Tatemono and Fujita Corporation (a subsidiary of Daiwa House) that created Yangon Museum Development. (Also mentioned in the report is the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), a Japanese public financial institution.)
