This report critically examines the judicial and non-judicial remedies available under Nigerian law to victims of human rights abuses committed with the participation of companies. It aims to achieve this by assessing the efficacy of the existing regulatory frameworks, identifying major obstacles that victims experience in holding companies accountable for conduct in contravention of their human rights responsibilities, and outlining recommendations that should help in overcoming these obstacles.
