Qatar 2022 World Cup: KNVB (Dutch Football Association) sets out approach & position regarding migrant workers' rights

In October 2021, the Dutch Football Association (KNVB) provided the below materials to the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre regarding their participation in the upcoming Qatar 2022 World Cup. These include a general statement from KNVB, information on KNVB's participation in a dedicated UEFA working group on migrant workers in Qatar and on the Association's sustainability commitment through the tournament. An infographic - "Football Supports Change" - sets out a timeline of KNVB's actions and engagement on workers' rights to date ahead of the World Cup.
