While the actual cause of the incident is still being investigated by the relevant Authorities APM Terminals position is that the storage of the particular container at Terminal 4 is authorized and acceptable at the recorded storage temperature. Once the incident was detected, Authorities were notified…The immediate priority for APM Terminals and the Authorities was to ensure that staff and neighbors were not in any danger…The Authorities confirmed that although a cloud formed from the container, this was not toxic.
