Russia: Rockwool supplies products to military & joins campaign supporting mobilised reservists, report shows; incl. co. response & NGO rejoinder

A new report released by Stop Business with Russia (SBWR) shows that Rockwool, a global wool insulation manufacturer that operates several plants in Russia and employs over 1,200 people, has been providing its products to and participating in tenders for the Russian Ministry of Defense and state-owned enterprises.

In July 2022, the company joined the Russian Managers Association, which in October 2022 became part of a campaign directly supporting mobilised soldiers and their families.

According to the report, as of November 2022, Rockwool has been actively recruiting new employees.
