Uzbek citizens with E-9 work visas will face fines if they leave their jobs in South Korea, the Uzbekistan Migration Agency reports.

The E-9 visa allows foreigners to work in South Korea’s agriculture, manufacturing, and construction sectors. Workers apply through centres and sign contracts with employers.

Fines of $2,000 per month will be imposed if an Uzbek citizen abandons their job without informing the agency’s representation in South Korea.
