Tanzania: Locals near Acacia Mining's subsidiary allege mine discharging toxic water causing human & livestock's deaths; company denies allegation

Local residents and leaders living near a mine belonging to North Mara Gold Mine (Acacia Mining's subsidiary) allege that the mine has been discharging toxic waste to the nearby water sources, causing human and livestock deaths. Acacia Mining, responding on behalf of North Mara Gold Mine, said that 'there was no evidence supporting these allegations'.
