UK: Britain faces ongoing strikes as workers engage in industrial action amid living crisis

Wikimedia

Since 2022, both unionised and non-unionised workers across Britain participated in strikes over summer amid the living cost crisis, as workers' wages failed to keep pace with inflation, which hit a 40-year high in June 2022 at 9.4% annually, resulting in a decline in real wages.
