Uber continues to contest the ruling of the employment tribunal in October 2016 that it is a transportation company that the drivers work for, and that as workers they are entitled to be paid at least the National Minimum Wage and to receive paid holiday.  The ruling was upheld by the Employment Appeal tribunal on 10 November 2017...The...hearing will consider Uber’s argument that it is merely an agent, connecting drivers with passengers...It has now been two years since the employment tribunal judgment was first handed down and since then Uber has refused to implement its findings...
