The Company also fully respects the international obligations applicable to the Republic of Serbia, including the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context — the Espoo Convention — as well as the Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment (Kyiv Protocol), where the legal conditions for their application are met. These instruments provide for assessment, notification, public participation and consultation in circumstances involving potentially significant transboundary environmental effects.
