...The conference "The growing presence of China in Colombia and Latin America: a dialogue in the framework of 3×3 cooperation" was convened by the Environment and Society Association together with the Asia-Pacific Observatory of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and the Colombia-China Chamber of Investment and Commerce. During the meeting, the need to open spaces for dialogue between Chinese companies, financiers and communities for the prevention of social and environmental conflicts in the execution of mega-projects was highlighted... The model calls for exchange and coordination between the private sector, society and the government in the relationship with China, in order to promote the appropriate development of the construction of the three main routes (logistics, energy and information technology) and the expansion of the three channels of financing (funds, credits and insurance). ...
