Malaysia slaps ban on new migrant workers from Bangladesh

Malaysia has barred employers from recruiting any more Bangladeshi workers following problems sparked by labor agents who leave the migrants stranded on arrival, an official said Thursday. Thousands of Bangladeshis have been forced to camp amid piles of rubbish in a car park at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport over the past month because their agents and employers have taken several days to collect them.
