Mapuche Tribe Fights to Remove Benetton From Homeland

Benetton Group SpA, the Italian apparel maker whose advertising celebrates diversity, is being accused by Argentina's Mapuche Indians of trying to bury the tribe's heritage... Benetton...said this month it will set aside 75 square kilometers...for the Indians... Benetton, which obtains 20 percent of its wool from sheep grazing on the land in Patagonia, says the Mapuches are utilizing the company's name to grab attention in a long- standing dispute that extends beyond its lands.
