Marriot supports UNWTO project to keep children from sexual abuse

The World Travel Market 2006 saw the UNWTO consolidate its aim to keep children from sexual abuse. The London meeting of the Task Force to Protect Children from Sexual Exploitation in Tourism saw them discussing the involvement of the tourism industry in efforts to protect children from exploitation. Marriott International has agreed to distribute the Internet link to “The Responsible Tourist and Traveller” amongst its confirmed bookings...The site hosts UNWTO’s practical travel advice, and is based on the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism.
