Middle East Airlines response

Middle East Airlines Air-Liban ensures and provides on a daily basis, the travel of some 100 persons with special needs, including 4 to 5 cases suffering complete paralysis, without encountering any problem...Middle East Airlines Air-Liban insists on clarifying the following: When Mrs. Roula AL-HELOU made her booking, she insisted that she can walk, as from the wheelchair to the plane door...However, when she arrived to the counter, at the Airport, it appeared that she needs full assistance to reach the plane seat, which issue requires anticipated procedures, in order to provide her with full comfort and safety at Beirut Airport, and on board the plane as well as at her final destination...While respecting Mrs. Helou’ s feelings, this issue may not, be transformed, in any case to a campaign against MEA describing the company as if it were heartless, with the necessity to remind about the obligation to adopt and address courteous expressions, with the Company’s employees, who are carrying out their role, while dealing with passengers, according to the rules of decency and ethics, without anyone allowing himself or herself addressing insults.
