Middle East: Workers denied the most fundamental trade union rights

Between total bans or tight controls on their activities, the independent trade unions are virtually non-existent. Strikes are banned, there is no collective bargaining, migrant workers are exploited and persecuted - such is the gloomy picture painted by the ICFTU of the situation in the Middle East.
