MK [Member of the Knesset] slams insurance policy protecting sexual harassers [Israel]

MK Zahava Gal-On (Meretz) petitioned the High Court on Sunday to stop the sale of an insurance policy that guards its holder against financial penalty should he be found guilty of sexual harassment. She named Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, the insurance company who sells the policy, AIG, and the government supervisor for insurance matters in the petition. This policy tells policyholder that even if he sexually harassases someone or agrees to keep quiet when he knows sexual harassment is occuring, he won't face paying monetary damages, Gal-On said.
