New guidance released for states approaching mid-term review & update processes of National Action Plans

"National Action Plans on B&HR: a guidance for the mid-term review", 15 June

HRIC is glad to present its publication “National Action Plans on Business and Human Rights: a guidance for the mid-term review”, authored by our members Giada Lepore and Beatrice Pesce, with the contribution of Marta Bordignon.

The document offers a useful tool to help States in approaching the midterm review and update processes of the National Action Plans. The Guidance describes six main phases of the process highlighting the challenges that States and stakeholders are facing during the drawing up of the new NAP’s version.

The guidance has been drafted following HRIC’s participation to the mid-term review process of the Italian NAP (2018) and in the light of its upcoming expiration by the end of 2021.
