Pandémie de COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Depuis fin 2019, un virus, le COVID-19 (communément appelé Coronavirus) et identifié pour la première fois à Wuhan en Chine s’est propagé à travers le monde, affectant des centaines de milliers de personnes. Le 11 mars 2020, l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS) a declaré qu’il s’agissait d’une pandémie.

Selon l’OMS, le taux de mortalité lié au Coronavirus au niveau mondial est supérieur à 3%. Au-delà des conséquences sanitaires, cette épidémie a un impact sur les conditions de travail. L’Organisation Internationale du Travail estime qu’environ 25 millions d’emplois dans le monde pourraient être perdus à cause du COVID-19.
