Inter-American Commission on Human Rights launches report on protection for human rights defenders, addresses business & human rights issues

At the extraordinary session held in Bogotá, Colombia, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights launched a report in Spanish on public policy guidelines to protect human rights defenders, including those defending their land rights and the environment (comprising 41% of those killed). NGOs have prepared submissions on the agenda items, including in particular business & human rights.
