Child health is intrinsically linked to food.  What food you eat, or do not eat, as a child may impact the rest of your life.  Malnutrition can impair the development of children, while eating too much of certain foods may cause obesity laying the ground for long-term health problems.  Children are also particularly vulnerable to harmful ingredients in food products.
