Occidental Petroleum shareholders pass climate risk reporting proposal

A new shareholder resolution requires Occidental Petroleum to report on environmental risks and opportunities associated with climate change. The resolution was proposed by California Public Employees' Retirement System and other investors, including Wespath Investment Management, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, and the New York State and Connecticut pension funds.
