[PDF] [Amnesty Intl. submission to UN Working Group on business & human rights]

In response to the Working Group’s invitation for proposals, in this submission Amnesty International identifies five key thematic areas on which it is essential that the Working Group focus its work over the next three years, and provides suggestions for the methodology to take this work forward...it is critical that the Working Group not only works towards the implementation of existing standards on business and human rights, but continues to build on and elaborate these standards...the Working Group must seek and receive information on actual situations and emblematic specific incidents relevant to its mandate – including allegations of corporate abuse, as well as examples of good practice.
