[PDF] [CEE Bankwatch Network suggestions on Centerra Gold's response]

...CEE Bankwatch Network would suggest that Centerra Gold answers the questions and reacts to the recommendations made by the Interagency State Commission report, to which Dr. Moran’s report is an Annex. The Interagency Commission – made up of state agencies’ representatives and Kyrgyz NGOs...conducted a site visit on 20 September and undertook sampling of water quality. Dr. Moran did not participate in the Commission site visit as he was denied access to the mine...[T]he Government of Kyrgyz Republic heard the findings of the Commission...and supported its recommendations, assigning the state agencies and the company to address its recommendations...Thus, we would recommend Centerra Gold to address the two reports altogether. We anticipate a comprehensive reply to the report in the near future with more details and tackling more issues raised in it.
