The October 2009 report of Cerrejón’s [joint venture Anglo American, BHP Billiton, Xstrata] progress implementing the recommendations of the International Panel that reviewed our social engagement in 2007 stated that the company intended to conduct by January 2010 a final assessment of the activities during the past two years. Cerrejón and its shareholders have decided to continue producing progress reports in 2010 until key outstanding commitments are addressed.
