[PDF] Roundtable on access to water in developing countries

On 24 September 2009, we held the fourth Better Returns in Better World workshop in Paris. The workshop focused on the issue of access to quality water for local communities and agriculture in developing countries. The objectives of the workshop were: (a) to understand the extent to which water is seen as an investment risk, (b) to examine how debates around access to water and water as a human right are likely to affect the significance of water as an investment risk. This note presents the key findings from the workshop as they relate to the Better Returns in Better World project.
