Philippines: Union alleges union busting by C&F Manufacturing when it retrenched over 60 union members; company responds

On 6 June 2016 manufacturing company C&F Philippines, a subsidiary of Irish firm C&F Tooling, retrenched 87 factory workers, stating business losses as cause. The union Tinig ng mga Manggagawa sa C&F Mfg. Phils. Corp. or Voice of the Workers stated that over 60 union members were retrenched, and alleged that the move was an attempt at union busting.
