Job Summary

The Project Officer will be based in London and prepared to undertake travel as required. Working with the rest of Impactt team to develop and deliver high quality project work and support Impactt’s marketing activities as required. The candidate needs to demonstrate a broad understanding of and enthusiasm for ethical trade with strong data analysis and writing skills.

Job Description

The Project Officer will be responsible for all aspects of project management and delivery, including, but not limited to:

  • Write clear and concise proposals, reports and other written outputs
  • Develop and deliver client work e.g. research reports, motivating training materials, information collation and analysis
  • Interview workers in order to understand and communicate their perspectives
  • Manage smaller clients and support growth of larger ones
  • Sell standard products to beginner clients
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Support development and implementation of marketing materials/activities e.g. contribute to Impactt’s blog and newsfeed as and when required
  • Work as part of a team and collaborate/consult as and when required
  • Proactively managing smaller projects
  • Proficiency in basic Office packages i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrating strong analytical skills
  • Self-managing time and priorities to deliver work on-time and on-budget
  • Excellent English writing skills

Qualifications and Experience

Ideal candidates will have degree level education and approximately three years’ work experience ideally with supply chain experience/knowledge or equivalent work experience.
