"QRCS, Chevron Phillips Chemical Qatar To Support Expatriate Workers In Qatar", 05 january 2016

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company Qatar LLC (Chevron Phillips Chemical Qatar) has donated QR 930,000 (about US$255,000) to Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) to launch the second annual 'Together for Benevolence' campaign, a charitable welfare programme to support expatriate workers in Qatar, reports Qatar News Agency (QNA). The programme will expand to include 25,000 road, building, and cleaning workers in several districts, sites, and organisations, including Qatar Foundation, Qatar National Museum, the Industrial Area, and Al-Khor City, QRCS press release said. Issa Al Ishaq, Head of Human Resources said the programme that expected to last for two months, has three phases: (1) distribution of 10,000 food meals (QR 100,000), (2) distribution of 10,000 water and juice bottles (QR 30,000), and distribution of 5,000 hygiene kits (QR 800,000)...
