Research, Documentation & Project Leadership Coordinator at WoMin
The WoMin Alliance is searching for a feminist writer, researcher and activist to take up an exciting new leadership role in our alliance. The purpose of the WoMin research, documentation and project leadership coordinator role is to assist WoMin and its allies document experiences and construct knowledge which supports social struggles and the pursuit of alternatives to destructive extractivism. The incumbent will also be expected to lead specific thematic cross-country WoMin projects. We are looking for a female candidate with explicit feminist politics to join a dynamic and growing secretariat based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
WoMin works regionally to research and publicise the impacts of extractives on peasant and working class women, supports feminist movement-building, and aims to promote alternatives to a dominant extractivist model of development in the Africa region.
