[Response by SP International to Calcutta Telegraph article alleging exploitation of child workers

I have a total number of 250 employees in my company and all of them are covered under ESI [Employees’ State Insurance] & PF [Provident Fund] as per the Govt. rule. A person can come in the ESI IF and only he is above eighteen years of age. I personally feel this is a proof enough to claim that I do not employ child labour in my company...I have given an open invitation to all my buyers to visit my company and form their own opinion about the published story.
