See's urged to shun cocoa from child labor

...Global Exchange, a San Francisco-based human-rights organization, will stage demonstrations today at two See's stores in San Diego and 29 of the company's outlets elsewhere to protest the use of child labor in the cocoa-farming industry. The actions by the group are also designed to pressure See's and other candy manufacturers like Mars and Hershey's to begin using cocoa produced on so-called Fair Trade cooperatives in Africa and Latin America.
