Ship-breaker ignored explosive warning [Bangladesh]

Rahim Steel and Ship-breaking Yard violated the warning of the Department of Explosives while scrapping oil tanker MT AGATE...which caused an explosion killing six workers and injuring many others...Rahim Steel's dismantling work was also a violation of a High Court order. [Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Rahim Steel & Ship-breaking Yard to respond to allegations of unsafe working conditions. Rahim Steel & Ship-breaking Yard failed to respond.]
