Six Environmentally-friendly Enterprises Newly Nominated by SEPA

China's environment watchdog has recently named six more corporations as environmentally-friendly state-level companies, including Shanghai General Motors [a joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. Group (SAIC)]...Dow Chemical (Zhangjiagang) Co [part of Dow Chemical], Changzhou Toshiba Transformer Co [part of Toshiba], Golden Dragon Refractory Co, Huanxiling Oil Production Plant under PetroChina and Yizheng Shuanghuan Piston Ring Co...So far, the SEPA has honored 38 companies with this title...These companies keep cutting pollutant discharges ahead of the country's standard.
