Slavutich adopts code of conduct for suppliers [Ukraine]

The company "Slavutich", Carlsberg Group has initiated the establishment of an internal Code of Conduct for its suppliers to regulate the brewery's relations with them. The Code stipulates several compulsory requirements to be met by Slavutich partners, including five sections regulating such key spheres as labor and human rights, occupational health and safety, environment, business ethics and business transparency...[T]he discipline pact obliges the company's partners to fully keep within all applicable laws and industry standards with respect to their employees and employee working conditions. The suppliers of Slavutich must observe the provisions of national environmental legislation and carry out systematic work to prevent, minimize and correct the negative environmental impacts resulting from their activities.
