Sorrell & co unite for AIDS fight

Leading advertising agencies and marketing luminaries, including WPP’s chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell, are launching a new AIDS awareness campaign for which they will provide free air time and space. The initiative, being launched in part by Sorrell and Bill Roedy, vice-chairman of MTV Networks [part of Viacom], will be announced tomorrow (21 June)... The seven agencies taking part are Cake, Grey [part of WPP], JWT [part of WPP], Lowe Worldwide [part of Interpublic], Ogilvy [part of WPP], Wieden & Kennedy and Y&R [part of WPP].
