Thirty-five migrant workers returned to Sri Lanka from Kuwait yesterday after... [they] had complained to the Sri Lankan embassy in Kuwait, of unpaid salaries and lack of benefits according to the service contract signed in Sri Lanka... The Embassy will inquire into the matter of the migrant workers and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has requested all migrant workers to register with the Bureau for protection when seeking employment go abroad.
