Thwaites rules out immediate smoking ban in Crown Casino [Australia]

Victoria's Health Minister, John Thwaites, has ruled out an immediate ban on smoking in all areas of Melbourne's Crown Casino and other hospitality venues. The Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union has urged the Government to move quickly to ban smoking from such venues after a new report revealed links between passive smoke and ill health.
