TOBACCO: FIFA Denounces Link To Industry, Upholds WHO Agreement

Soccer's world governing body, FIFA, reacted strongly to news Thursday that South Korean tobacco producer Korea Tobacco and Ginseng Corporation plans to introduce a line of cigarettes to promote the World Cup this summer..."Tobacco has no place in football nor in any other sport, and any involvement of any tobacco company is entirely unwanted and actively rejected."
