Trade unions plan mass protest [India]

Over 45 trade unions from the Gurgaon-Manesar industrial belt will gather here for a mass protest on Wednesday, making this the first such showdown between the district authorities and industrial workers this year. The protest comes in the wake of long-pending worker demands, including wage hike…Organizers said…We have a three-point agenda for the protest. We need a minimum wage hike.
