UAE: Advanced Facilities Management Co. allegedly delays wages to Nepali workers for six months

Nepali workers petitioned the Nepal embassy in the UAE after allegedly not receiving their salaries for six months. The workers were employed by Advance Facilities Management Company, and were left stranded after the company did not renew their contract nor their visas.

The embassy intervened when the case came to light on social media and, as of 20 September, 120 workers had returned to Kathmandu; another 100 were waiting to return.

We contacted Advance Facilities Management Co. to invite them to respond to the allegations. Advance Facilities Management Co. did not respond.
