UN Global Compact Working Group endorses good practice notes for businesses operating in areas with violent crime & on human rights impacts of product misuse

The UN Global Compact's Human Rights and Labour Working Group has endorsed two good practice notes on business and human rights. "Addressing Adverse Human Rights Impacts Connected to Product Misuse" explores the human rights responsibilities and common challenges faced by businesses when addressing adverse human rights impacts connected to product misuse. "Human rights good practice for business operating in areas with violent crime" identifies good practices for the prevention and mitigation of risks of adverse human rights impacts due to operating in a context of high levels of violent crime.
