Upcoming African Civil Society Dialogue and Consultation with NANHRI Members on the National Action Plans (NAPs) Project

The International Corporate Accountability Roundtable (ICAR) and the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR) are undertaking consultations with local experts and key stakeholders in various regions around the world to gain valuable inputs into the National Action Plans (NAPs) Project...On 25-27 November 2013, Global Rights is hosting an African Regional Civil Society Convening on Human Rights and Business in Accra, Ghana. As part of this convening, ICAR and DIHR are facilitating an African Civil Society Dialogue on the NAPs Project with key African civil society representatives...Furthermore, on 27-29 November 2013, members of the Network of African National Human Rights Institutions (NANHRI) are convening in Accra, Ghana for NANHRI’s 9th Biennial Conference, which is centered on the theme of “Business and Human Rights: Challenges, Opportunities, and the Role of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs).” As part of this conference, ICAR and DIHR are hosting a Consultation with NANHRI Members on the NAPs Project.
