USA: Palestinian-Americans file $34.5 billion lawsuit against alleged settlement supporters

A group of 36 Palestinian-Amerians filed a lawsuit against Israel settlement supporters in the federal district court in Washington D.C. on 7 March 2016.  The plaintiffs claim several US-based tycoons, charities and firms supported land-grab efforts that led to human rights violations over the past four decades.  Plaintiffs also seek damages from casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, philanthropist Irving Moskowitz and evangelist John Hagee for financing the construction of settlements.
