[video] Philippines struggles to curb child labour
In the Philippines there is a renewed push to stamp out child labour where over millions of children eke out a living as workers, miners and farm hands instead of going to school. The International Labour Organisation (ILO) has put that number at more than five million children, and of those, three million are working in unacceptably hazardous conditions. But the government says its new policies will be able to eliminate child labour by 2016.
